Where your files go.

Short version: the everyday tools never upload anything. The rest use our server for under an hour, encrypted, and you can delete sooner.

Tools that use our server

HTML to PDF, PDF to PowerPoint, PDF to Excel, PDF to PDF/A, PDF to Markdown, Redact PDF, Translate PDF need software a browser cannot run. For these, your file is sent over HTTPS, processed in an isolated container, and stored encrypted only until you download the result.

  • Uploads and results are deleted automatically within one hour.
  • “Delete now” on the result screen removes them immediately.
  • We never log file contents, and we never open files by hand.

What we don’t collect

There are no accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for and no profile of you. We don’t sell data and we don’t run advertising networks on the site.

Visitor statistics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: which page was opened, the site you came from, your browser and country, and how fast the page loaded. It uses no cookies and nothing that identifies you, and it never sees your files.

Cookies

pdfconva works without cookies. If we ever add one (for example to remember your language), it will be strictly functional and explained here first.
